It’s the end of June and it’s cold and rainy outside. While I tend to think of this as ideal weather, I can’t decide whether I’m grateful that there’s one last bout of beautiful cold weather before I head of to Tunisia, or whether I would have preferred to be broken in a bit before I leave with some mildly warm weather.

Here’s a picture of where of the weather where I am now-

Beautiful, non?

And here’s a picture of where I’m going-

I’m sure you understand my apprehension.

I can’t look at that second picture without thinking

One jump ahead of the breadline
One swing ahead of the sword
    I steal only what I can’t afford

I’m pretty sure it will be. I leave Tunisia on the 9th, get to NY at 10 pm that night, plan on wandering the streets until my train leaves on the morning of the tenth, then will spend the next three days crossing the country by train. All during this 4 day period I will be without a shower. If my BO isn’t of epic mention by that point I will be severely disappointed.

    Bitch, please.

Showers are easy to find. It’s like you just dared me to find a shower for every day of the four.

Also, some blog friends of mine did this 24 Hour Adventure thing in New York and found a lot of cool things open 24 hours including an Apple Store. Now I’m even more jealous of your trip.
